The 1st International Science Championships

The International Science Championships is a week-long event to be held biennially in the summers of even-numbered years, beginning in July 2028. It is organized by International Academic Competitions, which administers academic competitions for primary and secondary students around the world. ISC will feature a mix of quiz competitions, exams, simulations, labratory and fieldwork competitions, field trips, family events, and much more! ISC will be a general science event, though certain competitions will have a focus on specific fields of science. ISC will be similar in structure to IAC’s current World Championship level competitions: the International Geography Championships and the International History Olympiad.
Students can qualify through participation in IAC-organized Science Bee tournaments in Asia, Canada, Europe, and the USA, as well as through an ISC-specific Qualifying Exam which will be available later in 2026. For more details and for questions, please contact iac-info@iacompetitions.com.
